you know you could use Shadows & Highlights tool in photoshop to pull detail out of those underexposed parts of the face which would give the photo that one last thing it needs to shine unfathomably.

my only criticism would be that the face is underexposed, some fill light via a reflector would be ideal, but i realize sometimes that just isnt practical
